While starting the business in the back “Reenacting Room” of the old Greenwood Mills location in Ninety Six, SC, also included traveling to 18th and 19th century events and sharing the knowledge of period correct fabrics. Once the mill closed down in Ninety Six the reenacting room moved to a storefront in Abbeville, SC. In 2011 Jimmy and Beth Webb purchased the business and moved everything to Bishopville, SC. For six years they continued traveling to medieval, 18th, 19th, Jane Austen and War of 1812 events. In 2017, the opportunity became available for the Webb’s to open a store front in Bishopville. While still carrying a large variety of period appropriate fabrics, they have expanded their inventory to include quilting fabrics, drapery and upholstery goods, patterns, and sewing notions.
